The Village Project (TVPI) is a newly established, non-profit, tax-exempt, organization. It was created to provide culturally-appropriate services to the African American population in order to address unmet needs that existed in that community. While the focus of TVPI is to serve African Americans, TVPI is also committed to providing services to anyone who needs them.

While our current services focus on mental health counseling, we also have a parenting program and psycho-educational support groups for youth. We are excited that this agency exists and look forward to providing many other services in the future.

The logo on the home page of our web site is the West African symbol of cooperation and interdependence. This symbol was chosen because it represents the way in which communities stay healthy and strong.
